The importance of HR is growing and so are the requirements…

It has often been said that people are paramount within any organisation – no matter the size, structure or sector. But only recently has this reflected the importance of the HR Director, the individual that oversees the people within an organisation.
“lf the CFO is the right hand of the CEO, then the HRD should be the left, says Toby Burton, Associate Partner, Eton Bridge Partners. However, this key position comes with a lot of responsibility, he continues: “Today’s CEO is looking to the HRD to provide strategic vision, someone who is able to understand key commercial levers of the business, combined with ensuring the cultural direction of the company is on track.”
