We have built a supportive and inclusive culture where everyone is empowered to be themselves and to reach their full potential.
We put great care and attention into growing an internal team that can genuinely collaborate across all practices. We are transparent in sharing insights, providing comprehensive honest and constructive feedback to ensure we are consistently striving for excellence. Our sense of accountability results in a high-touch service with no surprises, and a focus on delivery and communication. Our clients and candidates consistently cite our culture as a key strength and differentiator in the quality and care they experience.
Diversity & Inclusion across our business
We are very proud of our inclusive culture, focusing on strengths and behavioral values when hiring and building our team from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences.
Our shared values unite us, strengthen our brand and client offering while allowing for diversity of thought, approach, and personality across the organisation. We focus on building a supportive, authentic, performance-oriented environment where everyone can be themselves and deliver at their best. We encourage and celebrate our individual differences and continue to focus on creating an inclusive culture.
Our Inclusion and Diversity Ambassador group, made up of volunteers from across the business, allows our employees to have a voice, to raise questions or ideas and to continually challenge our own thinking and bias.
Inclusivity through our work
We are proactive in headhunting diverse candidates for our clients. Ethnicity, sexual orientation, identity and gender diversity are all very important, however we also work hard to source candidates from a wide range of social and educational backgrounds.
Our in-house research team undertake the first stage of identifying candidates and are well-versed in the methods and processes to source a diverse range of candidates. Research shows that the most successful leadership teams have strong diversity, and we can flex our search, assessment and shortlisting processes to meet additional inclusion or diversity requirements.
A continued commitment to broaden our learning and support our network
We are committed to driving forward the I&D agenda within our business and with our clients. We are serious about continuous learning together and investing time and effort to to get it right.
We work hard to keep our finger on the pulse of the wider societal conversation on inclusion and how this applies to leadership and talent acquisition – for example, running a series of external events throughout the year, with a focus on mental health, gender, ethnicity, and disability to lead the conversation and help our network provide equal work opportunities for everyone.
All employees attend regular training/knowledge sessions to understand bias and market trends and equality legislation. We believe that through this additional knowledge and insight, everyone has the opportunity to further their understanding of the wider I&D topic in order to challenge our own thought processes, bias and be able to have fruitful conversations with our clients, candidates and colleagues.
We have signed up to The Social Mobility Pledge. This supports our work in supporting outreach programmes, providing work experience opportunities to individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds and adopting open recruitment practices so we are treating everyone equitably.
We are a member of ENEI the leading employers network supporting all aspects of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. Enabling us to understand best practice and keep up to date with current and relevant topics for both our employees, as an employer and the wider community.
We are proud to have received World Class accreditation and came No 14 in the Top 100 Best Small Companies 2021 to work for. Additional awards included placing #9 in the Top 10 Recruitment Companies to work for 2021 and #27 in the Regional List for South East’s 100 Best Companies to work for 2021.
