Emily Beresford
Operations & HR Assistant
Emily works with our internal Operations and HR team, with daily administration tasks, onboarding, IT support, and diary management. After graduating from the University of Derby with a 2:1 BA(Hons) degree in Illustration in 2020, Emily partook in several internships and consequently supervisory work for the University mainly in the Admissions department.
In addition, Emily worked in various freelance creative roles for multiple organisations such as The Chinese Embassy, designing the stage and backdrop for the Peoples Republic of China’s 70th Anniversary Celebration. She balanced freelance design, University study, and Admissions Support roles throughout her studies. During her time at university, Emily worked for a variety of organisations, supporting her learning about GDPR and data protection laws as well as gaining an understanding of the operational processes. Previously, in her role as Graduate Assistant Programme Curator for a Design Charity, Emily was also responsible for overseeing all the artists in residence and running all the social media and marketing.
She has a love of travel and has been on many adventures making some great friends. Her most recent adventures include a road-trip around Scotland and the Isle of Skye and camping in yurts in the Bodmin Moors.
