Steve works in our Interim CFO & Finance practice supporting trusted clients with Financial and Strategic leaders for a range of businesses. As a specialist within the field of M&A, be that buying, investing, selling or separating, he brings deep understanding of some of the most commercial aspects of your business. His client base spans FTSE and AIM listed, private equity backed, and privately owned. The experts he provides will have experience in either CFO, CFO-1, investment banking, consulting or transaction services, with extensive in-house corporate experience.

He passionately believes in adding value to the development of a company, especially around highly strategic initiatives such as M&A. Primarily this is financial, but also in efficiency, stability and security. His network is sector agnostic and can at short notice deliver services including; Interim CFO, Finance Director, Group FC, Head of FP&A, Chief Strategy Officer, Head of Corporate Development/ M&A, Corporate Development/ M&A Director, Buy-side and Sell-side M&A deal execution, Valuation Modelling, Due Diligence, PE Exit preparation and Exit Management work.

Outside of work Steve is a proud resident of Walthamstow. A community he believes represents the ever evolving and developing face of London. His big hobby is cooking, and he can often be found in his kitchen, cooking up a culinary triumph (or disaster), whilst his young family run around him. If he gets the chance, country walks with or without a golf club are his go to for a bit of fresh air.

Proud moment

It’s hard to pick between the birth of my two girls and marrying my wife. If I had to choose one, I’d say when my eldest daughter met her baby sister for the first time.

If I could interview anyone

Probably Napoleon, but with the aid of a translator! A fascinating character who changed the face of Europe.
