As Managing Partner, Steve supports the business and leadership team to deliver the vision of being the most trusted partner in executive search, interim management and consulting.

Steve took on the responsibility as Managing Partner in January 2022 and is keen to build on the strong foundations already put in place and develop the business further. He is passionate about leading and growing the already outstanding team of people to take the business through the next phase of growth.

The strength of the team is reflected in the fact that Eton Bridge Partners has been ranked in the top two UK providers of Interim Managers for each of the past three years by the Institute of Interim Management (IIM). In 2021, the company was placed number 14 in The UK’s 100 Best Small Companies to work for list.

Steve firmly believes these achievements have been made possible by the people-first culture and the collaborative nature of the business, something that he will foster as the business grows.

Since joining Eton Bridge Partners in 2013, Steve has successfully built the Business Transformation practice from a start-up into a market leader, supporting a diverse range of clients to deliver successful transformation and change initiatives.

A father of two girls, Olivia and Jessica, Steve spends the majority of time outside of work enjoying family activities and loves nothing more than weekends away in Norfolk. Whenever time permits, Steve is an avid golfer and also has a passion for his beloved Southampton Football Club.

Proud moment

My proudest moment was performing at my local pub singing and playing a setlist of eight songs to a packed crowd! It was a fantastic evening in which we raised a lot of money for charity and I still enjoying playing to this day.

If I could interview anyone

I know it’s a bit cliché and predictable but if I could interview anyone, I would choose Sir David Attenborough. The world has changed more during his lifetime than ever before and I’d be intrigued to hear his stories, opinions, and insights gathered from a lifetime of travelling.

Steve was always helpful and reachable, and using his knowledge of the candidates inevitably could help shortcut to the answer. Steve understood the situation every time and met some difficult deadlines. Steve is definitely first on my list to call when I am next building a transformation team.
