Meet Ruth

With over 28 years’ experience in finance recruitment – including the last 15 years specialising in executive search – Ruth has a strong track record of successfully placing CFOs and senior finance leaders into roles with salaries typically ranging from £100,000 to £300,000, across both the UK and international markets.

After graduating from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Biological Sciences, Ruth began her career on the graduate programme of a leading recruitment firm. There, she played a key role in launching their Nottingham and Swindon offices, as well as establishing a new specialist division in the Midlands.

In 2001, she returned to her roots on the South Coast, where she became a multi-award-winning consultant within the flagship office of a well-respected finance recruitment group. After the company was sold many years later, she transitioned to an executive headhunting firm with an international remit and a focus on the private equity market.

In recent years, Ruth has cultivated a wide-reaching network within the business advisory community. Known for her personable and pragmatic style, she is a trusted search partner for organisations seeking critical finance leadership talent – from family-owned businesses to large, listed corporates.

Outside of work, Ruth is mum to two sports-mad sons. She volunteers with a local not-for-profit organisation and is actively involved in secondary school education as a Business Ambassador.
