With over 25 years of finance recruitment experience, with the last twelve years being in executive search, Ruth has an extensive track record in successfully handling senior finance executive appointments with salaries from £90,000 to £250,000 across both the UK and Internationally.

Ruth graduated in 1997 from The University of Birmingham with a degree in Biological Sciences. She then joined a large Recruitment company on their graduate programme where she was involved in the set up of their Nottingham & Swindon Offices and launched a new specialist Division in the Midlands. Moving back to her roots on the South Coast in 2001, Ruth established herself as a multi-award-winning member of the flagship office of another highly regarded finance recruitment group. Following the Sale of the company several years later she joined an Executive Head Hunting firm with an international remit and a focus on the PE market.

In more recent years, Ruth has developed an extensive network within the business advisory community. With a personable and pragmatic approach, she has become a trusted Search partner to many organisations in their recruitment of business critical finance leadership talent ranging from family-owned businesses to large listed corporates.

At home, she has two active sons who are keen on many sports and Ruth volunteers with a local not-for-profit organisation, as well as being involved with the Secondary School Education as a Business Ambassador.

Proud moment

My proudest moment was being the fastest female runner at school.

A small brown dog with curly fur sits on a wooden floor against a plain white background, sporting a blue collar, reminiscent of the meticulous precision found in finance executive search.

Favourite era

If I could travel to any era, I would want to travel to 100 years from now. To see how well the human race has managed to slow down its impact on global warming.

Simple line drawing of a light bulb with rays emanating from it, suggesting brightness or an idea. The bulb and rays are in dark blue against a white background. Join the EBP team and be a part of the innovation!

With a business critical FD role to fill at haste, Ruth acted with utmost professionalism, integrity and tenacity helping to secure a first class candidate and demonstrating a clear understanding of the brief, the cultural fit and skill set and I’ll definitely be keeping Ruths details for the next role that comes up.
